Tonight is Diwali and everyone is celebrating. Our new landlords and their families invited us to participate with them when it gets dark outside. This will be a first for our family. The kids are excited. Pictures are soon to follow...
I just read about Diwali in a book. Well, there was just a literary reference to it. An analogy or something. I was so glad to know what it was, and I immediately wondered how many times my eyes had glissed over the word without knowing what it meant in reading times past.
